Rakete i dronovi koje su Rusi ispalili na više od pola ukrajinskih oblasti pogodili su tamošnje strujne mreže. Rusija je potvrdila da je napala ukrajinsku energetsku infrastrukturu te ustvrdila da je pogodila sve mete koje je namjeravala pogoditi. U spomenutom su napadu povrijeđeni deseci Ukrajinaca, a brojne su lokacije ostale bez struje.
U cijeloj su se Ukrajini zbog ruskih zračnih udara oglasile sirene za zračnu opasnost i njezino je stanovništvo poslano u skloništa.
Komandant Ratnog vazduhoplovstva Ukrajine Mikola Olešuk rekao je da je Rusija na Ukrajinu ispalila 127 raketa i 109 dronova. On tvrdi da je ukrajinska protuzračna odbrana oborila 102 rakete i 99 dronova. On je taj napad okarakterisao kao "najmasivniji zračni napad".
